Vodafone sets up new head office in London

Mobile and communications giant Vodafone is set to move around 200 staff to a new head office in London, in Paddington, from their existing head office in Newbury.

Newbury has been Vodafone's head office for 20 years, but will now share the honours with the new office in London.

According to the Financial Times, the move is said to enable the company's management teams to be closer to its stakeholders. The move represents only a portion of Vodafone's overall resources, as 900 staff are set to stay in Newbury, while a further 2,400 will stay in the company's other UK locations.
